I love this interview with Dries Van Noten on his Spring 12 women’s collection where he discusses printmaking techniques. For SS12 he looked towards prints with elements that didn’t seem suited for printing on textiles: 17th Century engravings or cities by nights mixed with photos of water and palm trees.
