What an amazing adventure we have had on our business dinner at the impressive temporary summer-restaurant on ‘Vuurtoreneiland’.
The wonderful pop-up is located on a small island close to Amsterdam and got started by the Staatsbosbeheer, who owns the island, Restaurant AS, Nooitlek, the Lloyd Hotel and the Cultural Embassy.
We enjoyed the beautiful nature and delicious foods prepared by chefs Sander Overeinder and Roy Wiggers, who also invite other chefs to collaborate. Made with local products and traditional cooking techniques; our meal on the Vuurtoreneiland a truly exceptional experience.
We were lucky to obtain tickets, which exactly describes how we felt when we entered the island earlier this week: lucky!! It’s a once in a lifetime experience and we are already dreaming of our next trip to Vuurtoreiland.
Pop-up Restaurant Vuurtoreneiland is very popular, and for most of the nights even already sold out. Yet If you call them, they might be able to arrange for some extra tables on the terraces outside.
An evening at Restaurant Vuurtoreneiland costs € 49,50 for 4-course including the boat trip and excluding drinks.
