Always liked the art of tattoos, but not on thyself? Shoe brand Oliver Sweeney (known for its classic men’s shoes) partnered up with tattoo artist Henry Hate to offer the opportunity to get your shoes tattooed instead of your skin.
Henry Hate, known for his work on Amy Winehouse, Alexander McQueen and Boy George, teamed up with Oliver Sweeney to inject some fresh attitude, creativity and originality into men’s footwear.
The iconic bespoke shoes are stunning on their own, but by using the shoe as an unexpected canvas, customers are able to add their own personal touch by submitting original designs for Henry to tattoo onto the leather.
“When I first started tattooing, I had to learn on a leather boot,” Henry admits. “This exercise felt very full circle.”
Perfect for re-creating a treasured image or simply for renovating an old favourite pair of shoes.
The launch of this unique opportunity was announced on 'Very First To,' a service that introduces luxury products, experiences and services like this one.
