Do you find regular cushions too staid? Are you bored by furniture with only one purpose? As storage facilities for clothes are usually made of heavy, thick-walled materials like wood or press board, which protect against dust and privacy, German designer Meike Harde's textile furniture series 'LONDON' has been created to furnish and order the environments in an original way, without being subject to the limitations and constraints of the classical structural rigidities.
Her series consist of three elements: a beige cabinet with fully removable cotton lining, ideal as a wardrobe for hanging clothes, shirts and jackets, a purple chest of drawers with folding sliding doors and a mirror adjustable in height, intended to host bend clothing like sweaters, t-shirts, pullovers and pants. The final mint green tower is a geometric composition of several diamond-shaped pockets made of elastic semi-transparent fabric that can be used to sort underwear, socks, scarves, hats, necklaces and all the small items and accessories.
In addition to storage furniture, the London line is complete with a colorful and comfortable stool.
