Imagine a very small place in a very high density city like Tokyo, there, deep within Bunkyo-ku, one of the even more densely populated boroughs (even by Tokyo standards) lies Ondesigns latest residential project. In a slightly larger than normal crack between two houses they managed to actually built another house. In their typical non-conventional way, they created this narrow but comfortable urban living space. It meets all criteria and discovers a new style of usage as a living environment, inside a small outer space, called ‘The opening’. Thereby ‘The opening’ is a place to move from one building to another building , it is a bay window to put a flower pot, and a space where people use and utilize the most out of it. Check out all the narrow awesomeness below.
