I have never been to Hong Kong nor many other countries, but by interwebbing through all of these great projects that are going on around the globe, at times I feel like such a globetrotter. Like this next project I came across, called 'Inside Out', is a large-scale interactive art project that transforms messages of personal identity into pieces of art. Black and white photographic portraits are the chosen medium to discover, reveal and share the untold stories and images of people around the world. Members of the public may participate as an individual or in a group; posters can be placed anywhere, from a solitary image in an office window to a wall of portraits on an abandoned building. Here are some pictures of the recent installation in Hong Kong by JR, the french artist who began this project. 16 large format portraits of Hongkongers were present on the roof of a pedestrian footbridge over Connaught Road.
