Last weekend on Saturday night we were watching the occupation of the Brooklyn bridge on the computer from our Amsterdam dining table. We started watching around 10-11 pm Amsterdam time. It took more than 3 hours before regular networks started to cover it.
Al-Jazeera was the first to be followed by the Huffington post and the NY Times, while in the meantime Twitter was exploding and Global Revolution had been broadcasting via live stream all the time. Carlos C. Brown was present during the Brooklyn bridge occupation, but he had also been witnessing and filming the protests the week before.
If it wasn't for Carlos, I wouldn't have known about the movement at all on September 24th. Thanks Carlos, for sending us this compilation of the footage you shoot at the moment that hardly anybody in this part of the World knew about the Occupy Wall street movement.
