PHYSICISTS BELIEVE THAT TIME TRAVEL MIGHT BE POSSIBLE

It’s been a long held fantasy, but a group of physicists now believe that they may be able to use the world’s largest atom smasher — the Large Hadron Collider — as a ‘time machine to send a special kind of matter backward in time’. The physicists have outlined a theory to ‘send a hypothetical particle called the Higgs singlet to the past’. But before we all get too carried away and plan a vacation back to the Ice Age, a significant number of improbable scenarios need to be resolved. Making this idea of time travel one for the future rather than today.
