This week I visited the dOCUMENTA (13) in Kassel, Germany. The thirteenth edition of documenta is dedicated to artistic research and imagination exploring commitment, matter, things, embodiment and active living in connection with theory (Carolyn Christov-Bakargiev, artistic director).
I was impressed by the variety of the art work and I really liked that the city and its monuments were integrated naturally in the exhibition.
One of my favorites were an artificial air breeze (Ryan Gander) that accompanied the visitors in the Fridericianum museum and a video shadow play of Nalini Malini.
